Campus Aviation Safety |

The Eagles Flight Team recently worked with Grant Brophy, ERAU's Aviation Safety Manager and Chief Air Safety Investigator, to promote the use of the Aviation Safety Report (AvSR) on campus. The AvSR form is a tool Brophy uses to collect data about safety hazards flight students face each day. Nearly 50 Flight Team members attended as the team hosted Brophy as guest speaker. |

| Aircraft Washing | |

The Flight Team is currently coordinating with Jack Haun at the ERAU maintenance hagar to wash aircraft over the summer. Apparently, the company that was previously contracted to do the job is not familiar with the care that must be taken with aircraft static ports, pitot tubes, etc. Haun prefers to have pilots wash the planes, and he may provide the Team with training and cleaning supplies to insure that the job is done safely. |
