Our safety achievements during 2000-2001:

Winners of the 2001 American Airlines NIFA National Team Safety Award.

Winners of the 2000 NIFA Region IX Team Safety Award.

Proactive in promoting aviation safety in the community through efforts at local airports, with the Young Eagles, and through Girl Scout programs.

Recognized by ERAU's Aviation Safety Program Manager and Chief Air Safety Investigator for campus safety efforts, including campus safety boards, AOPA safety seminar attendance, and promotion of the use of campus Aviation Safety Report forms.

Participants in advanced cockpit safety research with NASA's Advanced General Aviation Transport Experiments program.

As always, we worked hard to insure another accident/incident-free year for 2000-2001.

As a representative of the Embry-Riddle Flight Department, the Eagles Flight Team fully endorses and supports the mission of the University Aviation Safety Program. The safety awards and recognition the Team has received, as well as an unblemished safety record in practices and competitions, are testatment to the Team's commitment to safety awarness and education.
